For a family
A short reading, at home, between you and your child.
How a sitting goes
You pick the lesson, pick who is reading, and start. The first page appears. Your child reads it aloud and you listen. If they read it, you press “Well read”; if they stumbled, “Try again” — and that is not recorded as a failure anywhere.
A short wordless game follows the page. Then the next page. The sitting ends when the pages run out, or when you decide the day has had enough.
On which device
Your child can read on your device, beside you. Or on their own: you give them a link that lives on that device, needs no signing in, and still works for every sitting after this one. You watch them play, move for move, on your screen.
And if you are reading from a paper book, you can hide the pages from their device so it does not compete with the book for their attention.
